Failure By Design // Brand New

I’m feeling great tonight. Things really turned around for me over the course of today and I’m glad. So here’s my idea of a feel-good song that isn’t too close to anything else I’ve posted so far.

This is a lesson in procrastination
I kill myself because I’m so frustrated
And every single second that I put it off 
means another lonely night I gotta race the clock
(And I ignore it and it ignores me too)
What say we go and crash your car?
And every time I leave you go and lock the door 
And I walk myself picking at a chip on my shoulder
I’m another day late and one year older
I’m a failure by design

I sometimes think I’m wasting my highschool years being the anxious, nervous, uptight wreck that I am. I made an appointment and talked to someone about it, I’m I’m confident that she’s going to help me turn things right around so maybe I can enjoy the next couple of years and more. So. Here’s to change.
