Satellite Of Love // Lou Reed

This is from one of my favourite albums ever. My dad is a huge Velvet Underground fan so I grew up with Lou Reed’s voice and what to me was that familliar but strange sound. Then one summer my dad put on Transformer in the car while we were driving to the lake and I fell in love. 

I love the way the songs on this record sound so fun and silly at times when you first listen to it but a few plays in, you kinda might stop and think hey, maybe Lou Reed was onto something here. 

For my fifteenth birthday I received New Sensations, because my father saw my newfound love for Reed’s solo stuff, but I was never quite as taken as I was with Transformer. It’s still my go-to album for when I’m baking and cleaning. Good moods all around.:D
