Bomb the Music Industry-Hurricane Waves

Hey everyone, this is my first entry here at the song journal and its a lot later than I had planned. I promise that in the future it will probably be a lot earlier in the day, ideally 8am PST/11am EST. However, I was just too busy today to post as early as I wanted.

So here is a quick introduction: my name is Armando, I am 23 years old, I live in southern California, I graduated from UCR in 2010 and I work at Side One Dummy Records/Complete Control Radio.

Now that the introduction is out of the way let’s get on to the music!

This past summer has been a tough one to say the least. Its had lots of ups and downs and I’ve probably drank more in the past two months than I care to admit. However, the past two weeks or so I’ve had a snap back to reality thanks to a few people in my life who are awesome.Though while things were not as positive as they should have been this was my drinking song. Listening to hurricane waves on repeat while drinking countless shots of whiskey was a pretty typical night for me. Some nights worse than others but at one point I took a long hard look in the mirror and I realized a lot of things were bringing down were kind of trivial. I still listen to this song pretty constantly(its amazing song) and now its become a bit of an anthem to help stay positive. So here is to staying positive and month of fun ! :)
