something about writing and how i’ll never amount to the things you thought i would. something about the promise ring being my favorite band and the worst reminder of you. something about not having a home, never feeling like a fit, never taking the trip upstate again. something about weathering a hurricane and having nothing left to say. something about sitting on the floor of a shower in the dark for an hour and walking out a sadder person. something about wanting to be alone for a long time, and something about not being able to breathe in a perfect line.
